Urban Investment Group, LLC is a full-service real estate investment and development firm dedicated to creating exceptional real estate assets with robust and sustainable value. Our unique strategies for acquisition, disposition, and development are crafted to directly reflect our partners’ goals and local market conditions.

Our track record includes projects that span the full spectrum of product type and geography — from multi-family buildings on urban infill lots to mixed-use redevelopment projects that represent entire new communities — in locales as diverse as California, Colorado, Texas and New Jersey. We specialize in complex projects that often involve extensive entitlements, structured joint ventures, and sustainable visions for development. Two areas of particular focus are commercial/mixed-use urban (re)development projects and innovative athletic and recreation facilities.

At UIG, what we do doesn’t fall neatly within the parameters of any typical specific role. Depending on the specific demands of each deal, we act as strategic advisor, project manager, JV partner, broker, and/or fee developer.

The proposal included $145 million in structural pier improvements alone, renovation of historic warehouses, and new construction to accommodate unparalleled waterfront office space, a massive sports and recreation complex (including pool, courts, fields, bowling, skating, and boating), retail spaces, and a new cruise ship terminal. UIG staff served as a key component of the project management team for the pre-development feasibility analysis, design, consultant selection and management, cost estimating, and entitlement strategy.
